decided to go full atx, faster ram, a IPS monitor, and a full atx case and mobo,,

Hey all. This is my first time building a computer, so I'm pretty excited. Please keep in mind that I'm not that tech savvy.

I think my choices are pretty solid but I would like to know what you guys think.

I'm not much of a gamer or heavy user, so I chose not to include a graphics card (they're so expensive...). I did read that mechanical keyboards are a good investment so went with a pretty cheap but with good reviews Redragon keyboard. The monitor and case look really nice to me. I not entirely sure if choosing generic brand ssd is good or not but I do want this computer to last quite a while.

My budget is roughly $500 US but I'm willing to diverge if necessary.

For $500 all in with peripherals that's actually not a bad setup at all. Can't say much about that SSD though maybe others can provide some insight. Also, are you not needing a case?

Faster ram, as ram speed is important for APU. There are definetly better cheaper monitors.

different psu, and why an atx case with an matx board?

will eidt and repost a list.

I forgot about the size of the case, it just looked nice to me haha.

Thinking it over, functionality would be better than the aesthetics in the long run. $15 for an extra terabyte and faster ram sounds pretty good to me. Thanks for the edit, I might actually follow through with it.
