Recommended CCENT/CCNA Lab Manuals

Biggerboot

Let's assume I already have already purchased a few textbooks an watched a couple of video series in prep for CCNA.  I already have a few cisco catalyst 3000 switches and all the required hardware.  Are there any lab manuals or video labs you guys would recommend that would go in-depth with configuring your switches as well as routing and switching examples?  I'll also take more recommendations for standard textbooks, but I'm really looking for something supplemental to that.

For whatever reason seems to be used pretty heavily in a lot of courses. The prices aren't bad, but you will get tired of Rob Tracy and his monotone lol.

Which switches do you have?

The Jeremy Cioara CBT Nuggets videos are less dry than others.

Thanks, they both offer trials and are around the same price.  So when I feel up to it I'll see what both have to offer.  I could 'get' the CBT lectures if I really want but I've never tried their labs.  (I'm fine with paying for a couple of months regardless)

Catalyst 3560 and I think a 2960 but I'll have to double check.

I would recommend getting a router or two as well, 2811s are relatively cheap on ebay.  If your 3560 has 32 MB of flash (non POE for v1 and either for v2 if memory serves), I would try and get your hands on a copy of IOS 15.0.2 (12.2.55 will still work just fine if not).  That should give you access to any commands you may need.  The 3560 is important to your lab as well since it gives you layer 2 and layer 3 access for switch configuration.  When I was studying for mine I used the Pearson Labs, Packet Tracer, and my physical lab for study and practice.  I also work in network security, so that adds to it.

INE is really good. Compared with CBT, I'd say INE is much more thorough. However Keith is also quite a bit more boring to listen to, compared with Jeremy of CBT. (But that's probably the case for most)

And obviously the official study guides is a must:

They both come with Pearson practice exams, which are also very helpful.
