cant get new m.2 sata ssd to show in bios or windows

So sorry i never closed this thread out. The problem was, i had put the ssd in the wrong slot. Didnt know the "ultra" m.2 slot was for nvme ssds only.it works like a champ now. thanks to everyone who tried to help.
