Almost 5 year pc, Time to upgrade? (500€)

SegmentFault

Hi all, I need some help with my pc upgrade, and black Friday cames soon.

1. Budget & Location

500€, Spain. As I'm aiming for black Friday offers feel free to suggest also some better components worth the price.

2. Aim

This pc is used mainly for gaming, and I think is time to upgrade, I'm getting some FPS drops while playing, maybe it there any bottleneck?

I play games like Monster Hunter World, Overwatch, League of Legends, and some other games.

3. Current Build

CPU: AMD FX 8320
Motherboard: gigabyte GA990XA-UD3
GPU: GeForce GTX 660Ti
RAM: 16GB DDR3 1333
HD: 1TB
SSD: 240GB
COOLER: Noctua

What do you recommend to upgrade, maybe the cpu + mb + cooler, only the GPU it could be enough, is the ram too slow? Or should I wait some more time until upgrading?

Thank you all in advance.

I would recommend a full rebuild.

Completely agree. Much needed and maybe you can get a new 120hz monitor in that budget on black Friday and Cyber Monday to really get the 2018 experience.

I'd say use a 1060 if you can but other than that it's a great PC. And noctua might be able to send you an AM4 bracket to use ur old cooler on the new CPU.

The 1060 is waaaaayyyy more expencive and is really not worth the extra cash as it doesnt offer any extra, nor dpes it have freesync
