Can someone help me identify my CPU utilization problem with ntoskrnl?

Some general information first:

Notebook: OMEN by HP - 15-ce013na

OS: Win 10 Home latest updates (16.11.2018) and latest drivers for all components

I also wiped all drives completely and reinstalled Windows but the Problem persists.

Furthermore I followed all guides to fix this problem that I could find.

So I've had this problem for quite some time now. That one CPU core is nearly all the time at 100% usage because the System process uses ~15% ALL THE TIME.

I uploaded all screenshots that show more detail about my situation, that I can think of below. If that is now enough I can upload the cpuusage file from the Windows Performance Toolkit!

I'm going to assume you installed Windows, all proper drivers, system updates, and nothing else, correct?

Also I think this only happens when press the windows key. Before pressing it the system process is using 1% and not 15%!

Is there anything else installed currently, or is it just Windows? We need to isolate this as a driver issue, an application issue, or a Windows being stupid as usual, issue.

 

You've turned off all the spyware that you can in Win10, yes?

Have you tried running DPC Latency Checker? Run it before and after you press the Windows Key. It sounds like something is sending hardware interrupts over and over again which is taking up CPU time.

Yeah I disabled everything you do on Win 10. Also there is Eclipse Photon, Java obviously, Steam and League of Legends. My Antivirus is Malewarebytes, but besides that I have nothing istalled.

Ok, when troubleshooting issues like this, you need to start with Windows *only*. You need to nail down if this is a Windows issue, or an application issue.

I'd go back to bare metal. Install Windows 10 only, no updates or drivers.

See what the system, does CPU-wise. If it behaves, install 1 driver, reboot, and check again.

Do this until you have all drivers installed, or the culprit is found.

 

Next, do updates, one at a time, rebooting in between. For the same reasons as drivers. Stop when you find the culprit, or go on to the next section of applications.

 

This will be time intensive, but if you really wanna know where the issue is, this will find it.
