Any way to repair this Optane?

PrototypeEW

Is it fixable? Haha. No, I don't know how it happened. I got it in an auction lot of assorted salvage storage devices.

I really don't think so. It's also unlikely to be accepted for warranty since it's physically damaged.

Oh, just doing things the way Linus does in the videos. But I did some little soldering before. I've got some motor wire/enameled wire. So putting wires in place of the pins, I'd give it a try. But I'm no expert.

Oh, makes sense. My eyes aren't good enough for that.

Maybe I can send it to Linus and he can do us a video on it. HA!

I'd image you could rebuild the tab with epoxy and then file it down for size... then remaking the traces for wires... would be a bit tricky....

might be possible

what do you have to lose??

Can Anybody Link A Virtual Machine while I go download some RAM?
