You could decrece the price by changing the cpu to 2600, going b450, and only having 1 250 gig samsung ssd as I already have a 1tb hdd.

Looking for a 900 dollar build (Dont need perifs or a monitor or windows)

Trying to game at 1080p high refresh rate

any color scheme as long as it looks good.

made for gaming but I want a good all rounder also.

[PCPartPicker part list](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/JNKCKB)

I'm not in no means a team red guy nor a team blue guy I just like the job getting done. However, this is what I will be running pretty soon only a ryzen 1700. Want to switch to a smaller rig.

Couple problems with this build. No cooler, as it's an X cpu, mini itx mobo dosen't leave expansion, and over budget. Also the rx 580 is a little basic for me. Looking for a 1070 if possible.

Love this build, but I don't need the hdd cooler and I don't really like the case. Could you make one with those changes a nzxt h500 and maybe a nicer psu? Also would help if it was a touch cheaper.

It's really hard to do what you want while saving some money because it sacrifices performance in one place or another.

The H500 isn't even good and it costs more than the Fractal Design Focus G. A "nicer" PSU would also cost more money. And I don't know what HDD cooler you're talking about.

Slight budget stretch but with Black Friday coming up some deals will be found I'm sure. Went with a 1070Ti and a better 80+ Gold PSU, 550W is more than enough. And for the time being the stock cooler is definitely good enough. Also included a nice WiFi motherboard.

Sorry for all the issues. Just really what I want. Also, to be honest i'm fine with 8 gigs if you can fit it in. I'll upgrade once pricing goes down.

Ryzen really benefits from fast dual channel RAM, it's worth spending the extra on RAM.

aesthetics? You were the one that wanted the h500i. Here's a modified pcpartpicker list which is still over budget but black friday deals should drop the price.

CPU - FX 8350 @ 4.5GHZ GPU - Radeon 5700  Mobo - M5A99FX Pro R2.0 RAM - Crucial Ballistix 16GB @ 1600 PSU - Corsair CX600M CPU Cooler - Hyper 212 EVO Storage - Samsung EVO 250GB, WD Blue 1TB

I said h500, not h500i. Also, I said at that point. I thought you could achieve that level of performance and keep the h500 but I was wrong.

Consider the following:

An AMD card at the same price point is a considerable advantage, as you will be able to run freesync on a monitor that is half the price of an equivalent g-sync monitor.  This build is surprisingly strong for the money:

vhttps://pcpartpicker.com/user/spitty84/saved/#view=YVHQZL

This build could be had for 950, as that board is only $50 at microcenter, and they'll give you $30 off with a processor, so it would be nearly doable.  Or you could cut out the monitor and it would be $750, a frickin steal.

I edit the shit out of my posts.  Refresh before you respond.

Consider the following:

An AMD card at the same price point is a considerable advantage, as you will be able to run freesync on a monitor that is half the price of an equivalent g-sync monitor.  This build is surprisingly strong for the money:

This build could be had for 950, as that board is only $50 at microcenter, and they'll give you $30 off with a processor, so it would be nearly doable.  Or you could cut out the monitor and it would be $750, a frickin steal.

Hmm... How do vega 56's perform?

Edit: Just checked, this is the only vega 56 for this price. Normally they're 400. Also, this is a blower style so it's gonna be worse thermals.

depends on the game.

on average, slightly less than a 1080

however, freesync makes any framerate look significantly better, in a way that is difficult to describe, but that cannot be unseen.

Slightly less than a 1080? Benchmarks show in games they perform slightly less than a 1070. Freesync is an advantage, but again they're blower cards with higher tdp.

on nvidia games

raw graphic benchmarks:

Also, the drivers have matured incredibly since launch, and most of those reviews were done at launch, with the now well-outdated crimson drivers.

Yeah, but in the games I play (Overwatch, Destiny 2, GTA V) the 1070 normally beats it. Also price and the thermals are still points that nvidia wins.

Yeah I suppose.   Hell, you can get a 1080 for that price, and if you aren't planning on buying a high end monitor anyway, then go for it.  That would still leave your build around $750, maybe add another $50 for a 2tb BarraCuda.  But for realizes tho, that 1700x deal is the truth, it performs identically to the 2600 across 6 cores, and then you get two free extra cores.

Couple problems with this build. No cooler, as it's an X cpu, mini itx mobo dosen't leave expansion, and over budget. Also the rx 580 is a little basic for me. Looking for a 1070 if possible.

My vad I meant the 2600 not 2600X. Didn't know you wanted expansion too. With a 1070 I feel you may lose out a bit on other things. You can get some on EBay for pretty cheap (if willing). The 580 8gb comes with 2 games and a slight price drop which is nice. I have a 1050ti (for now) which runs my games pretty well medium to high at 55-75 fps.

With black Friday coming you can actually get some pretty sweet deals on some tech from Newberg.

Anyway I would switch out the ssd for something larger but that will go above budget.
