Fractal Design Node 304 Fans

White Armor

Hello,

I want to upgrade the fans in my Node 304.

My question is which parts are more imporant the intake or the rear of the PC Case.

At the moment I am running on stock fans from Fractal Design.

2x  92mm Silent Series R2 hydraulic bearing fans at 1300 RPM speed

1x 140mm Silent Series R2 hydraulic bearing fan at 1000 RPM speed

What I am thinking at the moment is upgrading the 1x 140mm to NOCTUA NF-A14 INDUSTRIALPPC-3000 140MM at 3000 RPM

I don't care about the noise level as It is more important the temps that I am getting

Of temperature and tell me if it is okay in idle or not.

(please see the attachment).

Not really a point to using 3K fans on a case that hasn't that much airflow to begin with. I've been running those stock fans for years and they have decent enough airflow. 57C in idle means your CPU fan is either lacking, or improperly mounted.

@Majestic Thank you for the replay.

That's why I am asking before I am throwing my money at something that is not needed.

Would you anyway recommend any other fans to work with that case?

And the second question, do you think I should check the CPU and maybe but new paste onto it ?

I have SilentiumPC Cooler on it I think it is a Spartan or something like that, I can check that later and edit the post.

@Majestic

I think that the software made some nice jokes.

And also my fans we're spinning at the minimum for some time.

This is how it looks right now.

You only let it sit for 30 seconds though, run something that puts a load on it for a few minutes.

Okay, I have tested it

Overwatch 2 matches, youtube full hd sometimes 60 fps.

Yeah, for a non-delidded Haswell CPU that's about right.

Okay thanks.

I guess I don't need to change anything.

However what about if I change to  Cooler Master HYPER 212X for free, would it be wise ? (CPU)

If you can get it for free, sure. Just don't pay for it, ever. It's not a good value cooler. I'm assuming you're running a stock cooler now, then?

Those temps wouldn't be possible on stock fan.

I have SilentiumPC don't know the exact model but I think it is one of these Fortis or Ferra.

Would you recommend any other cooler ?

Also second question is what do you think about Node 304 and Corsair 250D.

Your temps are fine and there's no need to buy a new cooler or fans.
