Graphic Card causing PC to not start

Hey, I'm here for asking a help. Matter is that I went to turn on PC last day and when its just turned on, in a few minute, its just shut off suddenly! Then I tried to turn on my PC but in vain. To check part by part to find out the problem, I removed my graphics card once and tried to turn on my PC and it turned on. Then I plugged my graphics card on motherboard again and tried to turn on but there was no response. After then I plugged my graphics card in my friend's PC and same thing happened here- my friend's PC was not turning on too.

So now, what happened to my graphic card? Surely there is a problem with it, but, is it possible to repair it? my graphic card is out of warranty date. any suggestion would be appreciated.

You have an old gpu, plug in your pc, turn off, unplug, turn on.

Plug in your friend, turn off, unplug turn on.

I'm pretty sure the gpu is dead.

It's a gtx 440, maybe its time to buy newer one.

@SupaKomputa is right about it being old, get like a 1030 (from Amazon or something) your card is beyond out of date
