Hello,

I've just recently finished my first OC on an i7-6700k, bumped to it 4.5ghz at 1.295 volts. I ran a stress test overnight on adia64 and temps were good (72c was highest) and no crashes. I thought that my OC was stable, but I've noticed now during playing overwatch that my audio will cut out for approx a second and come back on. It if matters my headset is wireless and I do not have any speakers at this time. If there is any other details I can provide just lemme know!

Thanks all!

p.s this is my first post, so, HI!

did you change the base clock? doing that can cause a bunch of random issues because its faster than expected. you could try bumping I/O voltage up a bit but i dont think that would help or just give it the straight 1.3V and see if that helps

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Spoiler

I changed the CPU core ratio to 45 and had the cores sync. Then played with the voltages a bit. But when I get home I will make it an even 1.3V and try it again.

Thanks

ok well there are a lot of voltages to play with if you really care to delve deep, but im guessing you arent really going for that atm. anyway if raising the voltage dosnt do the trick, check if the problem occurs if you put it back to stock
