Like the title said, Intel lied to us IMO.  Where is that 28 core 5Ghz processor ? They barely gave us the 9900k @ 5Ghz and that is 8 cores.  They claimed their 28 core can do 5Ghz.  Not only will 5Ghz not happen but where is this magical 28 core processor ?

That cpu was nothing more than a xeon 8180 on a custom mobo with a aquarium cooler

Not to mention the CPU alone pulled like a kilowatt to maintain that 5GHz, lol.

Welcome to 4 months ago when this was news.

The 28 core cpu DOES exist though. https://ark.intel.com/products/120496/Intel-Xeon-Platinum-8180-Processor-38-5M-Cache-2-50-GHz-

And technically the cpu in the demo was running at 5GHz - it just needed a 1hp minifridge to do it.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨
