Thanks, I’ve checked out a gt 1030 and it seems like it meets my standards for what I want, thanks for everybody’s help, I mark this thread as solved, thank you guys

(EDIT BELOW)Hey guys, I recently bought a dell optiplex 380 for 45 quid, I want a cheap, small and kinda powerful enough pci e graphics card to play modern games at low with at least 30fps at 1024x768 (without breaking the bank because im on one heck of a budget)

it has to have a power consumption of under 50 watts if possible, it can be more with an external psu, if anyone could drop me some suggestions below that would be awesome, thanks :)

(Edit) what I mean by low power I mean 45-50 watts, cheap I mean 35-40 quid and small I mean that it fits into a small case

Can you tell us what your definition of "cheap" is?
Are we talking 5 pounds, or are we talking 70?

The only cards rated that low would be the GT 1030 (DDR4 and GDDR5 versions) and the gtx 750/ti

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

At that price range, I can ask, what is your definition of "low-power"?

its only about a 250 watt psu, so to be safe max of 50 watts because the dell only supplies 45Watts to the pcie on the motherboard

A used GT1030 is probably your best option, just make sure you get a GDDR5 version and not a DDR4. I have a Asus GT1030-2G-CSM in my work PC and I've been very happy with it's performance. It greatly outperforms the GTX 550Ti it replaced and it only draws 30W compared to the 60W of a 750Ti. The performance is a little less than that of a 750Ti, but it seems like a better fit for what you're doing.

i9-10900K, Asus ROG STRIX Z590-E Gaming WiFi, Asus TUF RTX3080, 32GB G.Skill 3200MHz CL14

Samsung 970 EVO Plus 1TB, EVGA Supernova 850W G3, Asus Xonar DGX

Fractal Design Define C TG, Noctua NH-U14S, Asus PG279Q 27" IPS 1440p 165Hz

Remember to get the GDDR5 version and stay away from the DDR4 version at all costs.
