I get microstuttering with my 1080ti while watching Netflix/YouTube and gaming, but using an R9 Fury in the same rig with the same game settings produces none.

What brand 1080ti? If EVGA, try a different power supply.

Some times EVGA cards can get pissy about PSU's not delivering "stable" voltages through the GPU power cables. I had a GTX 660 do the same with a Seasonic PSU. Upgraded to an ASUS strix 970 with the same PSU and never had an issue.

I have the Asus Strix 1080ti; the behavior is the same with both high quality PSUs I own, which are an HX850i and an AX760.
