Is there a big difference between the 2? I know one is manufactured by Samsung, the other by LG.

If I don't put them side-by-side, and I don't do any form of content creation, is it true that I basically wouldn't be able to tell the difference? If it helps, I will just be doing coding, and watching basic youtube on the monitor. Maybe some games as well.

Thanks!

They're basically the same. AHVA, IPS and PLS are all essentially the same technology, just there are trademark/licensing reasons that prevent companies from calling their displays IPS.

Although in my experience that Im sure others have also had, Samsung PLS panels overclock really well! :P (Ahem all those QNIX monitors)
