It runs at 2400.

you will always run at the slower ram speed. also, dont forget to enable XMP!!! try overclocking the 2400 ram to about 2666 so all sticks can run at 2666. also, if the ram cannot overclock, try tightening the timings. that gives you free performance with no cost (not even more power draw).

The important things are the timings. As long as they matchup, you shouldn't have any problems.

It is highly recommended to use the exact brand, speed and even same batch as well.
