I was a smoker for several years, okay not one of my greatest achievements, but it happened. I am probably slightly older than most of the people here. I notice a lot of younger kids now aren't taking it up which is great, but when I was at school the majority were at it, the sensible ones quit.

 

I do think vaping is a great alternative, to be honest what I vape now has a very low nicotine content, I just cant kick the habit of the the actual act.

I gifted an e cig with liquids to my grandmother that smokes and she sayd she has two packs left and then she will start vaping. She tried vaping and she sayd it was great!

I like people who vape instead of smoking or who have switched to it more than smokers. Mainly because you aren't going to miss a queue while you need a smoke. You are still going to get made fun of for your inhaling sound though.

I smoke. Im a pack a day man.. Mostly lucky strike reds or benson & hedges black label (and i go through periods of smoking al capone cigarillos instead)
Sometimes i smoke my pipe. When i find some alright tobacco that doesn't give me chemical burns
And when there's celebration to be done i smoke cigars with a glass of whiskey on the side.
I've tried to quit but i can't be arsed at the moment. Too much stress in my life.
And i can't stand patches,gum,e-cigs,sprays or snus

You're the healthy one. If you can't stand the smell or you don't want to be near a smoker.. run!.

i think e-smoking is just as bad as normal smoking, especially because people think its fine.

But its not gasoline, its sometimes used as an additive, its also used in antifreeze but it isn't what would make those products unsafe to consume.

 

I do think its bad that if someone who didn't smoke took it up, but for those that did this is a great alternative and shouldn't be discouraged.

 

I was always pretty fussy when I smoked, hated the smell of it on my hands and clothes and never ever smoked near a computer etc. But now with vaping I can, it has so many benefits for someone that already smoked.

I'm pretty sure its about 99% healthier than smoking though and that shouldn't be put down especially towards those that smoke. I would encourage smokers to vape if they don't want to quit or are finding it difficult.
