I did! It stayed above and below by around 50+-. for the read and 20+- for the write.

Hmm...did you enable RAPID mode feature?

I remember they initially only had that feature on the 840 EVO SSD's but 840 Pro owners where whining and what-not, so they added RAPID mode to those as well.
