Turning off single GPU fan

The fan mount on my 750ti just dropped my fan and I was wondering if there was anything I could either use to stick it back in place (fan still is in perfect condition  except for mount) or if not then is there a way to turn off the fan until I can get it fixed?

Do you have a photo of this damage? Perhaps there's a quick fix you can throw together.

How many watts do I need? ATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explained, group reg is bad

So it just threw the fan off (fell down still spinning) and you can put it back on its spindle if you hold it with fan facing sky it will still spin fan because gravity is holding it in its bracket?

 

You could try a dab of glue (Im not sure what the insides look like) and let that set, but may cause the fan to unbalance.

 

You could ziptie a case fan in its place

I'm going to try a 2 part apoxy the fan didn't just click back in unfourtunatly

Yeah you can glue but you will very likely be making noise now (unbalanced fan) - Id say try to be even as possible on the application
