Loosing display signal halfway through boot.

Guiseppi

I switch my pc on and i get the motherboard logo then windows starts to boot and as it loads my display signal cuts. It works when I boot in safe mode however. I reinstalled windows as I thought it could be a software thing and I got it to boot but in device manager the GPU wouldn't show up and also one of my harddrives had also gone. I then upgraded from win7 to win10 to see if it was an update thing seeming as win7 no longer gets updates. Then it booted and was fine for about a minute and now I have the same problem. Is my GPU dead or is it a different problem?

Sounds like a driver issue.

First: Do you have the newest BIOS?

Second: Boot in save mode and use DDU

to completeley remove the driver and prevent win from downloading its own

then install the latest driver聽

Right, so I've reinstalled windows again, I've updated my bois and used DDU a million times and it seems to be that every time I try to install graphics drivers it cuts my display signal. It runs fine with no drivers though. I've been at this for hours and can't seem to get anywhere am I safe to assume that the GPU is dead or just unusable.
