dolby digital plus not working through HDMI

my audio jack is brocken, idk why so i use the one at monitor back

how do i enable it to work to hdmi bc i really need it,

I Can't live without Dolby

What device/media player are you using? Is it connected to a TV or a surround receiver? Does the HDMI cable have silver or gold plating on the connector?
