Games Freeze/Crash

Hi all.

 

So I've just built myself a new PC. The problem I am having is every time i try and play a AAA game the game itself either freezes or completely crashes.

 

I'm running an 8700k and a second hand 1080ti. I have stress tested the GPU for over an hour without any problems, temp sits around 75. I also have the latest driver.

What cooler are you using on the 8700k? What are the CPU temps?

What games have you tried?

Its a hyper 212. CPU Temps sit around 80 when stress testing CPU. Games ive tried are COD WW2, Middle earth shadow of war, COD black ops 4. Im currently installing Ghost Recon Wildlands to see if that works. Ive tried CS GO and it seems to work fine.
