go to user benchmark, the gtx 1060 3gb is better than the 580, also The CPU is as important as GPU

User benchmark is hot garbage when it comes to comparing hardware. If you want good benchmarks then look at proper reviews of the relevant hardware.

please remember that this trying to beat a console at the same price point, or rather the xbox one x, I wanted to get the best bng for the buck at the same price range so thats why i didnt cheap out on the CPU, and yes, I could use an SSD.

CPU only becomes a factor at higher FPS figures and extremely CPU demanding games, of which even they can usualy maintain atleats 60 FPS even on the lower end CPU's. Since consoles rarely even hit 60 FPS, u dont need to worry 'cheaping out on the CPU' when trying to 'match' consoles :P

Honestly, If you are looking to game for as cheap as possible, just get a 2400g or a 2200g with no GPU. I recommend the Ryzen 5. Since consoles often sell for around 200 to 400 dollars, it's difficult to fit a PC that goes above and beyond a console's performance while staying in that price range. Thus, a 'console killer' would just be a PC that happens to be priced above a console because it can perform much better.

If you're looking for a PC for the same price as a console, then you haven't really killed the console, you've just switched platforms to play different games because an equally prices PC will have the same performance as the console.

Plus, you can't really kill what is not on your platform (console exclusives).

Make sure you get faster ram than 2400mhz because ryzen performs better with faster ram. I guess you can look into overclocking the ram if you don't buy a faster kit

alright, so I cheaped out on the CPU with a Ryzen 3 1200 and was able to fit in a 1060 6b used and the total was less...

The 2200g is stonger than a 1200, so grab that instead.

the problem with that is that the 2200g needs a b450 mobo which costs more than b350
