Quick USB thumb drive for windows install?

Guest

Hey guys, so I find myself installing Windows 10 maybe once or twice a month and I would like it the process was a little quicker. I was thinking that a good option would be to get a better USB drive than my current cheap $5 8GB drives, maybe that could speed up the process by a few minutes. Are there any USB drives with quicker than the norm random IO reads that are affordable? I'd rather pay in the ballpark of $40-50 tops, any suggestions?

Maybe a cheap 120gb or even smaller SSD and a Sata to usb cable?

Actually worth considering, I'll think about that, though a flash drive's form factor might make it more attractive if I could find something pretty quick for not too much more money
