AM4 Stock cooler swap??

Fez760

Recently i got the A6-9500 to update my motherboard for the ryzen 3 2200G but before finding out i needed to update the bios (stupid me didn't check the box for the ryzen 2nd gen ready) but the wraith stealth gave me quiet a bit of trouble and i quite love the A6s Cooler but its kind of a dinky little thing but would it be interchangeable to use on the Ryzen 32200G (from a cooling standpoint) given how they are both 65W parts

I would imagine the Wraith would cool at least a little better... I don’t know why you would want to swap that cooler on. Are you sure you installed it correctly?

im pretty sure its more for ease (being lazy mainly) and due to it not sitting correctly everything is aligned but one side always sticks up its frustrating (and worrisome i dont want to damage something unintentionally)

It sounds like you're screwing in one side of the cooler before the other. Make sure to tighten them gradually in an X-pattern instead of one side before the other.
