how did you conclude this?

RTX = Nvidia hardware tech

Games get made for console first (pc is an aftertought most of the time)

Current AND next gen Consoles are AMD based

If it gets used in games its gonna be shit at best (aka gimpworks)

Even the 2080TI has shit performance with RTX enabled AT 1080P FFS

2 generations to mature and actually get used from the ground up ~ 3-4 years

Let's agree to disagree

So nothing really.  DLSS already has 25 titles ready to go (and that was before the card even released), major studios have updated their render engines to utilise nvidias RT tech.  Whether it performs well out of the box is kinda moot.   So is trying to infer consoles have some sort of impact on Nvidia's technology.

Grammar and spelling is not indicative of intelligence/knowledge.  Not having the same opinion does not always mean lack of understanding.

for most games, the console version just have some settings disabled. This will be exactly the same. As it seems it's not even that hard to do rtx, it in fact saves time to them, anad time is money.
What will happen is that the manual work of coding shadows will be a thing in the past, and people without RTX will miss them entirely.

Nothing that makes console "peasants" worked up about, they aren't usually the most demanding customers when it comes to things like performance, graphics or fps.

Still i'm with you, this will take some time before games are shipped with RTX, or at least a decent implementation of it, probably a year or 2. Nvidia just released a premature tech.

i was also looking to upgrade but because nvidia increased so much the prices for the new cards, the old ones didn't go down in price that much, at least in Europe
