Hello, this is my first build. My budget is around $1200CAD and I plan on going some AA and some AAA gaming at medium to high settings at 1440p at 60hz.

Get a Corsair CX550M instead of that Rosewill unit.

Motherboard VRMs will overheat with any overclock

 

PSU is of unknown quality, you should check out the PSU tier list in the power supply subforums and buy something tier 3 or higher.

 

Graphics card is fine if you run at stock settings, no good for overclocking.

 

No idea why you need so many straight blade fans, their static pressure is pretty poor so it's mostly in places that dont need to blow through things like radiators or air filters.

- Get a better motherboard, preferably an ATX one from ASUS

- Get a MX500, 860 EVO, or SanDisk SSD Plus instead of the A400

- Get a CX550M PSU

Look for a used GTX 1080 on Craigslist. They’re about the price of a 1070(Ti) new. Or you can get a 980 Ti which is about the price of a 1060. Both cards will give you great performance for years to come
