no dual channel??

It's not the colors that make dual channel work...

Are you sure it does not have dual channel? Some motherboards, for aesthetic reasons, choose not to recolor every other RAM slot, but any modern board should still feature dual channel (meaning slot 1 and 3 work together and slot 2 and 4 will work together too).

If you are not sure, please do tell me the motherboard model number and I will check if it actually does not have dual channel.

thanks alot i see it on the box now. I am fairly new to pc hardware (5-6 months of experience) and just panicked when didnt see diferent colors.

It features dual channel and the manual recommends you first use slot 2 and 4 for your first set of memory.
