X34P - Do I have too much IPS glow?

Hi all, just wondering if you think I have too much IPS and if I should return the monitor or if its normal? These pictures were taken in a pitch black room with my Samsung Galaexy S8+. In reality its not as exposed it is on the camera.

Try just tapping the display in those corners to see if it starts to dissipate. The display might have shuffled around a tad in shipping/travel

The right hand lower corner looks often typical for these panels. The left hand upper needs some work. You can adjust the filter on most monitors I would attempt that, it might make it far more balanced.

Now in reality not looking through a smartphone at a black screen to you really notice it at all day to day? Probably not

is it very intrusive when actually using the monitor? or do you only see it on black background and such...?

I'm not sure if its too intrusive as I can only notice it on black or dark screens and only the bottom left. I do want a relatively good panel since I paid full whack for it. Top pic is at 14 brightness, bottom one is at 100:
