Overclocking on A320 chipset

Hi guys... I’m actually new here... but I have something that I’m so curious about. AMD clearly stated that A320 chipset is locked and cannot be overclocked. However, on my MSI A320m Pro VD/S motherboard shows overclock setting and it’s actually worked... have anyone experienced the same thing...?

Which overclock settings specifically? It's also not meant to be overclocked because all A320 boards, no exceptions, have crappy VRMs that will fry under overclocked loads on say a 95 or 105W Ryzen part.

PC Specs - AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D MSI B550M Mortar - 32GB Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR4-3600 @ CL16 - ASRock RX7800XT 660p 1TBGB & Crucial P5 1TB Fractal Define Mini C CM V750v2 - Windows 11 Pro

Overclock setting in the bios itself... I can tweak the core multiplier, voltage and so on and so forth... it’s so weird... I’ll make to posted some picture of that when I got home...

Even if you could do it, I would advise against that. A320 boards are definitely NOT made for overclocking. Those VRMs will melt.

Ryzen 5 1600 @ 3.9 Ghz  | Gigabyte AB350M Gaming 3 |  PaliT GTX 1050Ti  |  8gb Kingston HyperX Fury @ 2933 Mhz  |  Corsair CX550m  |  1 TB WD Blue HDD

Inside some old case I found lying around.

I took your advise admirably... I’m just curious how could this be...
