Can I power the power LED some other way?

Cookybiscuit

I have the power LED for my case plugged into the motherboard (obviously) where it should go, it works fine when the system is powered up. However, when I put the system to sleep it flashes and is incredibly annoying, the motherboard (Asrock Extreme 4 Z77) is supposed to have a 'Good Night LED' BIOS setting that stops this, but the idiot who designed it just made it turn off the power LED completely.

Is there something else I can connect the LED to?

Thanks.

Putting it into the motherboard is where it shouldn't be :P Get a molex to 4 pin fan adapter.

How do you mean? Standard power LED like every one just goes into the two pins on the motherboard same place the HDD activity, power button, reset button etc.
