I want to bring together a bunch of practical life hacks that would actually help out the average person. Be it something as complicated as turning a rj45 connecting into a long usb cord or as simple as using a key ring to keep your pants zipped. I want the list to be considerably different than the one floating around the internet currently. So try and include ones you discovered for yourself that worked amazingly. Ok, lets a go.

P.S. Try your hardest to include ones you have personally used or discovered. Any of them that can be found on the old list has already been iterated across the internet for a few years. Each friday I will aggregate every post into a list in this post so everyone knows what is already included.

If you want sound dampening material for podcasts or voice recording/studio you can use egg cartons because they do the job almost as well.

On my part (the Snoop Dogg - Smoke Weed Everyday link I posted) it was a joke meant to make people laugh. Making people laugh makes them feel better, thus it is a positive thing. And a couple of people actually "liked" it, so I made them feel a bit "positive"... that is of course before you needlessly decided to delete my post.

 

I really hope that you didn't think I was seriously condoning the use of weed or any other form of drugs. It was obviously just a joke, no harm done, but whatever floats your boat I guess, from now on I will stop posting anything humors and never ever diverge from the main topic... that sure sounds fun :\

 

 

So back on topic. Dear OP, do NOT smoke weed everyday.

 

Furthermore here's a "life hack" I found a while ago. Of course most people know the Alt+Tab function that switches between the open windows you got open (quite helpful if you want to quickly switch from a full screen program back to your desktop) Well I also found this small application that makes the UI for this function look a lot better, and adds a bunch of functionalities to it.

Not sure if the remote is still working or the receiver on the TV dead? also works with remotes for cameras etc.

Take the camera on your phone and look at the preview, press the buttons and you'll see it flickering if it is working, you can't see that with the naked eye, cameras can.
