Hey all-

I am looking around for some new headphones. But, I know nothing about them :P

I am currently using Turtle Beach x41's, so I am sure almost anything would be an upgrade. I can sell the turtles beaches to get some extra money to buy headphones as well.

I don't really have a price range. Also, this will be running off of on-board sound, so I don't need the worlds best headphones.

I want comfortable, wired headphones please.

Thanks :)

Open or Closed? Do you need a mic? Beyerdynamic DT770 is closed, DT990 is open, and for the mic, Blue Yeti if you are willing to pay more, if not then the Blue Snowball. If you have no idea what open or closed means, here is a Techquickie video -

Sennheiser HD598's

Super comfortable and great sound quality, should easily run off your onboard as well.  If you don't like the look then the 558s are pretty much the same :)

Those are a little bit too ugly :P

You dont see them when they are on your head. Besides its all in opinion. I personally wouldnt mind them being black, but they feel luxurious and wearing them feels like a privillage.
