Hi! So here's my build:

Pentium G4560

ASRock B150M Pro4

ASUS RX 460 2GB

8GB DDR4

Kingston A40A4 120GB SSD

Be Quiet Pure Power 10 400w / System Power U9 400w

Phanteks P300

My question is, should I get Pure Power 10 / System Power U9? Some people say the System Power U9 will be enough for my build, but it has a sleeve-bearing fan (which is not good if mounted horizontally) while the Pure Power 10 has a rifle-bearing fan. I noticed that the Pure Power 10 is a Tier 2 PSU, while I don't know where will the System Power U9 be placed in the PSU tier list...

Also if you have a better case suggestions other than P300 for under $100, please help me :D

I'd personally get the Pure Power 10.

U9 would probably be T3 (low end DC-DC design), the Pure Power is significantly better.

Pure Power 10 because of the higher quality fan, that will last longer than the normal Standard Fan of the U9.

Do you know how long approximately both Pure Power 10 and System Power U9 will last for? (Under air conditioned room, nothing will be OC-ed, 3 intake & 1 exhaust fan, 4-8 hours/day usage)

They both come with 3 year warranty periods, so if you have any issues with it during that period you can have the unit repaired/replaced.

Realistically it should outlast the practicality of the g4560 system you're intending to use it in. (In other words you'll want to replace your system before you should have any need to replace the PSU in it)

No

There is no way of knowing that.

What we know is that the fan of the Pure Power is certainly better. Besides that, we don't know anything.

It also comes down to external factors like voltage stability (AC), the components used and so on...

... Bugs.

Oh yeah, of course.

I tend to forget that because its not really an issue in Germany...

But in other regions that is a big issue and forces some manufacturers to integrated anti Bug Foams to the PSU.

Why are they even called cockroaches. No sexual intend ;)

But that's a good question where I haven't found the answer to (who named it, where would be the first to ask)...

Dude (I assume), I used to live in Florida. Not to hate on Florida, but we got ants and roaches in our electronics and the sea-salt air would corrode electrical contacts so bad.  Shit would NOT LAST. Everything died in a year or two. Add to that the constant brown outs for being the lightning capital of the world... Might as well not even own a computer.

Yeah, I completely agree. I might move my stuff into my car for the time being, because it should be safe there (plus it's off street parking, so should be broken into there). - I'm not close enough to the ocean for the salt in the air to be much of an issue, so that's fine.

The place has both American and German Cockroaches, plus bedbugs. It's not nice. But that's the price you pay for getting a place for under $200 per week in the inner suburbs of Melbourne.

My housemate doesn't understand the problems with getting stuff off the side of the road - all of the furniture - including the beding is from the side of the road - he even got our toaster off the side of the road - FFS, that's why this place has an infestation. But buying a laptop or a phone used - that's a fucking no go, and everything from an Op Shop are just povo items - in his opinion.
