Can anyone find the Forza Horizon 4 exe?

I've bought and installed Forza Horizon 4 from the Windows 10 app store, and I want to add the exe to Steam as a Non-Steam game.

Can anyone find it?

It'll be wherever the WindowsApps folder is stored (dunno what the Forza Horizon 4 folder is called but it's probably Microsoft.ForzaHorizon7 [or something like that]); it might be hidden for you, so make sure you have folders not hidden.

Check out my guide on how to scan cover art here!

I already had a look through there, and there are a couple folders of Horizon 4 DLC, but no main game folder? ?

Tried using the search bar, that might give you some results.

Found it. For some reason it's under C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Microsoft.SunriseBaseGame_1.187.929.2_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe

Forza Horizon 4 = Sunrise Base Game? Weird.

Though I can't add it to Steam

You might need to run something as administrator.

Search about the error (on google) before trying anything

If you're using windows 10 I found that having the ransomware protection from Windows Defender prevented me from saving files/editing them.

Have you tried following a guide on this?
For example, this one
https://www.thewindowsclub.com/add-windows-store-games-to-steam

Looks simple enough, you open AppxManifest.xml, locate the app ID, then you use the template which is " shell:AppsFolder\PACKAGE!APPID ".
From there you should something that looks like

Quote

shell:AppsFolder\Microsoft.MSDallas_1.3.5292.2_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe!App

and you copy that in the Target for non-steam games.

I would recommend posting a new topic so that people will see it and help you out. As this topic is fairly old, it's being locked now.
