So I read up some reviews last Friday about motherboards and there is this one thing that bothers me. 
More VRM phases=better overclocking?

Just hope for the community to answer this burning question on this.

P.S. also hope for some good motherboard recommendations with the z370 chipset.

Generally, yes.

 

The more VRM phases = more stable voltages = better overclocking results

Distributed over more VRMs = lower VRM temperatures = lower CPU socket area temperatures  = helps with higher overclocks.

Yes but not necessarily. More weaker phases for example, might not be any better after all.

A board around 2000HKD, around 250 or less. Z370 chipset, ATX form factor, as much features as possible.
