New SSD formatted to smaller size

sukhpalgosal
Go to solution Solved by homeap5,

Use MiniTool partition wizard for extend your system partition. If any partitions are after your "C:\" - you can move they too using the same program.

I currently upgraded my SSD. I had cloned a 250gb SSD to a 500gb SSD. When I was looking at the memory on my laptop with the new SSD for some reason it says it is formatted to the size of the smaller SSD. What could I do to fix this?

Thanks!

First - move WinRE partition to the end of your drive. And Apply.

Then - resize C: partition.

Thank you very much! Worked perfectly!
