I don't wanna break it for you but, even GTX 660 struggles with PUBG on low settings. Hardly to run anything post 2015 and other than E-sports tittles.

Maybe you can get your hands on something cheap as GTX 950 ?

that's the old days back when pubg was in early access but ive seen a lot of videos on youtube showing that u can still run this game even if u had a GTX 660

I'm not saying that you CAN'T, it depends on how good you want to run the game, as 30FPS is not good in shooting game. PUBG tends to be buggy and laggy anyways.

My gf PC GPU died and we putted used GTX 660 that we found. It's ok for League and that type of games. We tried running Dying light on it as we wanted to play Co-op and the experience wasn't so pleasant.

and I edited my last comment

GTX 660 was still pretty decent for esports games and some AAA at low settings, 650 im not so sure about. most games will probably launch, but they wont be a nice experience id assume

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is聽play no games atm &聽watch聽anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...聽 nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project!Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log!聽(Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

A 950 isn't that much faster than a 660, though. I'd look for a 960, or even a 770. They trade blows and are about the same price, 770 usually cheaper.

I offered it聽only as a聽cheap variant and it's faster than 650. He will be able to play around 45 to 60fps聽on low settings 1080p with 950. GTX 770 is good option too if he fits his budget you'll be able to play around 70 fps on medium聽(without anti-aliasing).

I own a ati6850, which slightly faster than gtx650.

the conclusion is I cant get near 30fps even at lowest 768p, only 20ish fps at new titles

your target should be saving up and buy at least a 1060/580聽
