hdd clicking louder than it should be

i recently pulled a toshiba MQ01ABF050 2.5" hdd out of an external drive for an old pc I'm fixing, and it makes loud clicking sounds when its seeking, i don't know if its just that way this drive works, or if its on its way out.

a HDD shouldn't actually be "clicking" at all.

 

clicking = bad and the drive likely wont last much longer

back up the hard drive now. your probably gonna need a new one
