My budget gaming PC

Fosh612

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/qRKv29

This is an updated list for my budget build. What do you guys think?

Looking through the AMD freesync looks really neat, that is why I chose AMD components.

BTW, IK SSDs are better but I cannot spend 100 on storage, I have an ssd for my boot up.

  • You don't need the thermal paste.
  • Get a better PSU. Refer to the LTT PSU Tier List.
  • You don't need the fans. More fans does not equal better cooling.
  • Spend saved money on a better case with better airflow. P300, etc.
  • I wouldn't get a Razer keyboard.

Looks like a pretty solid build.
I'm not familiar with AMD Graphics Cards, so I can't say anything about the RX 580.
Have you considered the MSI Optix G24C monitor? I don't personally own one, but 144hz should look pretty smooth.
Also nice keyboard choice, I love my Cynosa.

I would argue it's good practise to have some spare thermal compound around, so the choice of Arctic MX-4 is alright to me, no Arctic bias.

A good point though. I'm too used to having tubes left over from cooler installs. That said, instead of buying paste, I'd buy a better cooler too.

I have looked at MSI, but they r so pricy. I don't feel like spending 250$ on a monitor rn.

What games will you be playing with this build?
If you can afford it, I would totally buy a 250GB SSD.

All I have my on SSD is Windows, Fortnite, and Minecraft. That alone takes up 90GB.
120GBs might not cut it.

Also, the rx 580 seems like it can really run 75 fps well, except for esports, but I want to play games mainly like Skyrim, Witcher 3 etc.

A better cooler? Arctic Freezer 33 eSports One! Very much Arctic bias there. ;)

I just finished my build a few weeks ago, I have very similar specs https://pcpartpicker.com/list/PvQrw6

The R5 2600 and RX 580 compliment each other very well, especially at 1080p. You've got a good looking build there, but, like other have said I would recommend a better PSU.

Are you going to turn that cooler into a desk ornament when you upgrade? xDxD
