Synchronizing files between Windows desktop and a Linux laptop

Go to solution Solved by LogicalDrm,

You can do this with Resilio Sync. I did it while I had Win7 desktop and Ubuntu laptop. I still use Resilio between 2 Win10 PCs and Android tablet.

Two questions:

What would be the easiest way to synchronise a folder between a Linux laptop and a Windows desktop?

Would this compromise the security of these devices?

Thanks

Google Drive? unless you're dealing with large files then i would say a shared network folder.

Yeah I was thinking about something along the lines of a shared folder. It's basically so I could do version control of programming files.
