RX 580 8 GB comparison

Hey guys,

I'm currently building my own gaming rig with an RX 580 and some people suggested me to get one type and others to get another type.

 

The thing I'm asking is which one of these cards is "better" and why.

 

MSI - Radeon RX 580 8GB Video Card

vs.

Sapphire - Radeon RX 580 8GB PULSE Video Card

I'd get the sapphire for the dual fan solution and therefore better cooling

The cards are nearly identical, but there's a difference in cooling. The msi card has a single fan while the Sapphire one has dual fans.. So I would go for the Sapphire one, msi and sapphire do both have great quality so that's not something to worry about.

When I look at the specs from both of these cards, the Sapphire should outperform, why?

-The boost clock of the Sapphire card is 1.37GHz (MSI = 1.34GHz)

- Sapphire got better cooling solution (that's why the TDP of the Sapphire card is 40W higher)

well, the gpu I recommend the most and have been recommended the most is the XFX Radeon RX 580 GTS XXX Edition https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06Y66K3XD/?tag=pcpapi-20 and it is considerably cheaper then those two.

MSI one is just fine (ask @Dan Castellaneta), but Sapphire is better. However, the XFX one suggested by @lmeneses is best

If those are your two options, just get the MSI one. It's cheaper and smaller, and it doesn't run terribly hot if you're willing to mess with fan curves.
