What do you consider to be "budget?"

So I'm going into high school soon, (ik I'm young) and I need a laptop.I want something thin with good battery life, and I dont need to game. what are some good budget options?

I would reccomend either the surface laptop (if you can strech your budget to $800, or a dell inspiron.

GTX 1070 RYZEN 5 1600, 16GB 3200mhz, G Pro Wireless,144HZ.

From northern va, no max weight just relatively light, 12 to 15 inches, and at least 5 to 6 hours on light load (chrome and Microsoft office)

Short battery life. Ryzen mobile problem since it's still immature

Don't have an exact figure but should be at least 25% less compared to Intel KBL-R

 

Ryzen 3 is alright but the CPU performance is low (Intel 2c4t ULV level) and the iGPU isn't that impressive either
