Hello everyone,

Ive seen shops around here are announcing rm750x 2018 version, it appears it will be around $20 more expensive than currently stocked rm750x 2015 version.

My question is, is it worth waiting until 2018 version is in stock and paying extra $20, or changes are minor and i should just get 2015 version?

my build is

CPU: ryzen 2400g

RAM: g.skill aegis 3000mhz 2x8gb

MOBO: MSI b450 gaming pro carbon

SSD: old sata 3 250gb i have laying around

Plan is to upgrade CPU and GPU at some point in future(something like ryzen 2600 and rx 580 or new radeon cards once they come out since i have freesync monitor i doubt ill go nvidia), i doubt ill ever OC, or implement watercooling but i do plan adding couple of more storage disks both HDD and SSD. I hope to use base of MOBO, RAM, PSU for at least next 3-4 years, and just switch cpus, gpus to upgrade.

It's not worth getting a 750W PSU, especially if you don't plan to OC. A GTX 2080 Ti and 8700K with OC will use less than 500W. Your system with a Ryzen 2600 and RX 580, without OC, will use maybe 200W.

Get the 550W RMx and you'll be fine.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.
