Wi-Fi Adapter or Something?

After looking for motherboards and reading tons of reviews I found the ROG x470-F as my choice, the only issue is it doesn't have on-board Wi-Fi.

My router is 20 mb/s but I might upgrade to 50 mb/s, I've seen on-board Wi-Fi adapters aswell as USB solutions for it, but there are tons of options to pick from.

1.- Should I go USB or internal adapter?

2.- Which product would you recommend me for a stable and reliable connection that supports at least 50 mb/s?

3.- Anything else that I should look for when choosing adapters?

Thank you

1- PCI Express all day long twice on Sundays.

2- Technically speaking Wireless N could do this, BUT Id do a nice wireless AC adapter

3- First place to look is your router. Wireless works based on the slowest device connected. Id go AC wireless any way you look at it, but if your router for example is an 1900AC router, you might consider doing an 1900AC card at least. Also ASUS and TP Link have nice wireless cards. You might also consider a card that supports blue tooth, in case you want to do wireless audio or something. The biggest thing, is dual band, which all AC wireless cards should be. 5 Ghz is where the performance is on WiFi.

1) Largely a personal preference although PCIe seem to perform more consistently.

2) Pretty much anything ac, depends on your router.

3) Usually just match your router standard or better, something dual band.

Depending on how much you budgeted for a wifi card you could roll something like the CHVII Wi-Fi that has onboard 802.11ac but it's about a $60 delta.
