I need help choosing a phone, i want something really powerful, large screen(note 3 size is perfect for one hand use with my large hands but a little smaller is fine), the option to get into things and mess around with android or whatever(unlike apples IOS), decent sound, 1080p screen that actually looks nice, and decent storage size. i was thinking possibly HTC one but ive heard some bad things about it.

Sound?

A bad thing for the HTC One?

That is one of the better features and it beats all the other phones in terms of sound quality.

Sound quality through earbuds is bad not speakers.

yeah it's not the best but it's still good for an android phone.

My adice :

Wait a untill CES , The Sony Xperia Z2 should be unveiled , also possible the Samsung Galaxy S5.

I would choose between those two depending on preference.

If you really cant wait 2-3 months or so than get either the Xperia Z1 , LG G2 , Samsung Galaxy Note 3 or Nexus 5

I'd wait for now. MWC is next month and that's when most of the companies reveal what they're going to have phone wise for the next year. Pretty much all of the current flagship phone's will have their replacements released in the next couple of months.

If you have big hands and the Note 3 is up your alley, I wouldn't get a One. It has a smaller screen by a full inch.

The Oppo Find 7 comes out soon, also around the same size as the Note 3. There's a good chance that it will come with a Cyanogenmod version, or at least full support, so if you like to play around with the OS that's the one I'd wait for. It's supposed to have a massive battery as well. Less charging = less strain on the battery.

ok thanks. Is there any options other than sprint for unlimited data If anyone knows? T mobile isn't an option as they don't do contracts and have to pay full price of the phone or finance it and it ends up costing more than sprint

I just picked up a HTC one for my bro, It's a great phone. I was most surprised by the premium feel and how it felt in the hand. I compared the speakers to my brothers S3 and they don't go as loud but the sound quality is far superior. But who listens to music through the speakers, Just buy some headphones or earbuds.

There are a lot of options that is just the only phone i can vouch for.

Intel i7 3770K [] Asrock Z77 Extreme 4 [] MSI R9 290X 4GB [] 16GB  G.SKILL 2133Mhz [] Crucial MX100 256GB [] WD Black 1TB [] XFX Pro 850W [] Fractal Define R3 [] Func MS-3 R2 [] Corsair K60 []

The Nexus 5 is not a bad choice. The speakers are improved in the newer batches with bigger holes but never tried it so don't know how big of an improvement it is.
