yeah when i stream i get potato fps i was thinking on getting either 9600k or 9700k depending on the benchmarks coming out in a month or so

From what I understand, you will need a BIOS update to use those chips, or a new motherboard entirely if you want to really get the most out of them.

Intel i7 8700k | Asus ROG Strix Z370-I | NVidia RTX 2070 Super Reference | Corsair Vengeance Pro RGB 3600MHz x 32GB | Samsung 970 Evo 500GB NVMe | Samsung QVO 1TB SSD | Custom Loop | Corsair RMx 850w Gold | Phanteks Evolv iTX TG (modded) | Acer Predator XB1

That's good for a 1080 and a quad core. Higher frame rates are just going to make the game look worse (with your monitor), so you don't want that.

Actually it feels a lot better and smooth

Are you using GPU encoding?

Streamers are hardly the golden standard when it comes to computer knowledge

Then how can I fix framesrate while streaming I need a new cpu just because I only have 4 cores and 4 threads I have i5 7600k at 4.8ghz

if you're still over 144 fps while streaming then there is nothing to "fix"

4 cores/threads doesn't handle streaming well but also depends on game

I don't think memory in single channel really matters much for gaming this also depends on game too but might for gaming and steaming together

And gaming competitively the shit talk about fps higher then monitor refresh rate is off

Many games and engines respond better to higher fps for hit registry to even movement
