Thanks for the info, gonna get intel 8700k and a gtx 1080/1080ti with the cryorig R1universal cooler. So that’s should be fine yeah?

Put two fans in the front for intake, and yes you'll be set.

Hi,

im currently aiming to buy a meshify c but I recently came across the phanteks eclipse 350x that looks really nice and is $20 cheaper. I was wondering if anyone knows how it’s thermals are? If it’s close to the meshify c I’d like to get that but if it’s no good on cooling I’ll skip on it. I was hoping gamersnexus or Linus had done a review on it but I can’t find it.

Thanks!

It's close to Meshify C. Depending on the "level" of build (R5/15 CPU and RXC580/1060GPU) you wont see a significant temperature difference (less tan 5ºC)

I have that case so I may be able to provide some insight. I have my Kraken X61 in push/pull (4 x 140mm fans) in the front, with a top rear exhaust added as well. My Fury does fine at stock speeds. I can be running a stress test on the GPU running at say ~72*C, and I can take the glass side panel off and it drop 3-4*C almost immediately. Just add adequate airflow in the front (at least 2 x 120mm fans) and it's fine. The stock rear fan is fine, although I did replace it for no reason other than aesthetics.

CPU: INTEL Core i7 4790k @ 4.7Ghz - Cooling: NZXT Kraken X61 - Mobo: Gigabyte Z97X SLI - RAM: 16GB G.Skill Ares 2400mhz - GPU: AMD Sapphire Nitro R9 Fury 4G - Case: Phanteks P350X - PSU: EVGA 750GQ - Storage: WD Black 1TB - Fans: 2x Noctua NF-P14s (Push) / 2x Corsair AF140 (Pull) / 3x Corsair AF120 (Exhaust) - Keyboard: Corsair K70 Cherry MX Red - Mouse: Razer Deathadder Chroma

Bit of an AMD fan I suppose. I don't bias my replies to anything however, I just prefer AMD and their products. Buy whatever the H*CK you want.

I have the P400S which has a more restrictive airflow.  I'm not running an insane cpu as I have an I5 4460 but I have heavily OC'd my RX 480....so I do have a miniature oven inside the case.  At idle my CPU sits at around 38c and the gpu at about 35c.  Under heavy long term gaming my cpu stabilizes at 59c and my gpu sits at around 72 to 75c depending on the game.  My fan setup is 2 120mm Intake Phanteks SP fans in the front, 2 Thermaltake riing 120mm fans as exhaust at the top, and 1 Thermaltake riing 120mm exhaust at the rear.  I don't have to much issue with Temps and thats in a more restrictive airflow case than the P350X.
