Why 2 fans per rad? What graphics cards are you using?

You can probably go with a Define / Meshify C if you use a single fan per rad. Example here: https://pcpartpicker.com/b/7xV6Mp

Rads could be mounted at the front, top, and rear.

for temps, gigabyte g1 1070 and evga ftw 970, and that case is sexy af

A single fan should be plenty for cooling already unless you're running very low rpm.

Are you referring to the Apevia fans or the Corsair? Neither are great but the Corsair compensates with high rpm. If you're going to get new fans, you might as well get better ones like NF-P12's: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/VNBTwP/noctua-nf-p12-redux-1700-pwm-708-cfm-120mm-fan-nf-p12-redux-1700-pwm

If you want orange leds, there are better options like Dual-X's: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/r4ckcf/cougar-case-fan-cfd12hbr

The Apevia ones linked are the the ones im running currently. I'll look into the cougar ones but i deeply enjoy the Apevia onces with the way they light up(even tho they are pretty sucky)

im running at about 135F(57C) on the 1070(+120mhz Core Clock, +%10 Core Voltage) - 120f(49c) on the 970 - and 160f(71c) on the cpu(4.7ghz 1.280V)

Would the temps be about the same if i switched to higher pressure fans

It depends on the fans you're swapping to and from and the rpm you end up running the fans at. There's a bit of performance to be gained but the main benefit of getting better fans is maintaining similar performance with less noise. Your current Apevias should perform fine as long as you don't mind the noise from running higher rpm.

tbh, i dont really hear it that much; the hum isnt audible when my headphones are on and when they're off its usually off. But uh in total there are 14 fans in the entire thing... (12 120mms and 2 90mms)

Wouldn't worry about replacing fans until some of them start to have issues

ahh okay. I'm going to assume the rad dimensions based on XSPC radiators because no reviewers bothered to measure it

xMm2sLy.png

(if the rads are thicker than 31mm then you might have a problem)

(case approximated from an existing sketch of the mATX version. Cerberus X does not fit mATX boards due to permanent standoffs)

the Cerberus X wouldn't work with my fan -> rad -> fan set up in the front unfortunately. Gpus are too long and the motherboard i have has the power cable for the motherboard too close to the front side of the case. I've thought about making my own off the design of the Cerberus X but slightly different. (size of case is a roughly 8"X10"X12"(more like a 8.5"X10.5"X12")

image1 (3).jpeg

Its a really rough measurement but fans and rads have .2" space to move around and if there is no glass panel then no one can see the cobweb of wires

Hey update if you guys are interested, I think im going to wait a little bit so Geeek can have there new ATX case out (http://www.geeekstore.com/shop/geeek-t812-atx-case/)

Its not as small as i'd prefer but it would still cut the size of the ai crystal cube in half.

Ill keep ya'll posted

Really? because Volume wise thats the smallest ATX case I've seen to date

For Reference, the Meshify C is 2,435cuin, which many people would consider a very small ATX case while still being able t hold all the hardware you could want.

The Riotoro CR1080, which for a while was the smallest ATX case I knew of, is 2017 cuin, about 12% smaller than the Meshify C

This case is 1820cuin, making it 10% smaller than the CR1080 and 25% smaller than the Meshify C. It really doesnt get any smaller than this. :o

The Cerberus X is smaller, instead of a 430mm x 216mm x 320mm (~17" x 8.5" x 12.6") its 380mm x 172mm x 358mm (~15" x 6.8" x 14"). The only reason why im going with the T812 ATX CASE by geeek is because the Cerberus X cant fit my fan -> rad -> fan set up

That's the case, and i'm in the process selling my 1070 and 970 for a 1080/1080ti, maybe even slimming down to a micro atx. But the cpu rad fits the back with my setup, and the gpu rad on one of the 2 spots in the front. (This is the t812 its (430 x 216 x 320mm, there is a t810 that is 430 x 216 x 290mm)

I thought you had 3 rads total. Are you only running 2 now?

With 2x120mm rads and only 1 GPU the world is your oyster, assuming you don't have any other expansion cards.

I'd go ITX, I've done a few builds in the NCase M1, extremely high quality and about as small as you get with a full sized GPU. Of course at that point you'd need an SFX PSU, and things aren't so cheap when they get really small. HDD should fit under the GPU in the proper mounting point, ditch the fan just right of that and stick the SSD there. No official mount for the SSD there but it's and SSD so just Velcro it down or something.
