Third Hard Disk (Disk 2) at 100% active time

Hard Disk (Disk 2) is at 100% active time with above ~1000 ms response time and constant read.

Restarting stops this for a while but starts up again.

Looking in resource monitor, there are 2 files that are causing the problem and they are both MP4 yet there is no program running them.

Can you delete the files? If not, try booting into safe mode and try deleting them there.

They are important MP4 videos that I can't just delete, the weird thing is it keeps changing the file being read and they are all of the MP4's in that folder.

If they aren't too big, upload them to a cloud service such as Skydrive and once they're there, delete them of the HDD.

They are like 4Gb each some much bigger and the whole folder is ~335Gb big :/

Can you move it to another drive? Maybe move it to another computer on the LAN? Assuming you have 1Gb/s link speed

Unfortunately I can't do any of those things :/
