PC case suggestions.

Hey all, just made a new build, I’ll start with specs first so you’ll know what we’re looking at:

 

Asrock B450 Pro4 (ATX mobo)

Ryzen 5 2600

EVGA 650 80+ Gold Modular 

EVGA GTX 1070ti

Corsair Vengeance RGB 2x8 DDR4

Samsung Evo 850 500Gb

WD Blue 1Tb 7200RPM

 

there is an Arctic Freeze 33 on it right now, thinking I’ll change that and go with a Corsair all in one water cooler that takes 3x120mm

 

So, this new build I put into a Thermaltake Core G21 Tempered Glass. That was my mistake I think. The case came with no mounting hardware at all, no screws for the stand offs, no SSD/HDD mounting screws etc. luckily I work next to a computer repair shop so I was able to grab some immediatly. BUT the front panel USB 3.0 cable is defective as well. After I made the build I hit the power button and... nada. Not even a hint of power or life. After some fiddling I found out that it was the USB 3.0 cable that was the issue. Unplug it and it runs just fine. Don’t feel like tearing down the build to return a $70 case and build back into another one. So I’m looking for suggestions on a replacement. Preferably id like something a bit more open that what I have (but still needs to be sealed, I like the look of the Thermaltake Core P3, but the open sides/top/bottom won’t work in the environment it’ll be in. If there’s something like that that perhaps has glass all around that would be nice. Just want to see what people like as far as a case with a better user experience is and what people suggest as far as that goes. Thanks fo any help

if your into minimalistic cases that are pretty easy to build in, fractal design might something you'd like.

Cases with glass all around exist, but you'll have to be extra careful with things like your cable management because it will show. 

 

If you only truly care about the front and side, the Corsair 460X is a good case to look at. Has enough airflow for your system and will support a 360mm rad at the front

Hmm that Lian ones not bad, similar to that open Thermaltake but enclosed. That’s a contender.
